*Say hello to a new weekly series by our beauty product guru, Hayden Gray of Pretty In My Pocket (PRIMP), the badass app you all have by now (right?). Get excited!

*

Hayden from PRIMP here, bringing you your doctor-recommended, weekly dose of beauty booty from the PRIMP app. Seriously though, your mom called and you really need to tune in each week as I fill you in on the recent products that have caught the eye (and 5-star rating!) of our Primpers.

1. NARS Blush ($29): Pigment and packaging alone make NARS a standout brand, but their blush is truly one for the books. While the staple (and best-named) shade, Orgasm, belongs in the beauty hall of fame, NARS blush in Liberte (a “burnished apricot”) has gained instant popularity among women with medium/dark skin tones, as it gives a beautiful, terra cotta flush to cheeks without the too-shimmery or too-light gripe many darker-skinned ladies have with Orgasm. (But, if you have skin prone to redness, stay away from this shade).

2. Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman Core Collection ($18): With a solid 5-star rating on the PRIMP app, Real Techniques brushes have a lot going for them: SUPER affordable price, lightweight design, and sturdy-yet-soft bristles for easy, precise application. Did I mention you can use them to apply powder, cream makeup products, AND lipstick? This Core Collection includes four brushes for buffing, defining, contouring, and finishing (basically all you need when making up your mug).

3. Lorac Pro-to-Go Eye/Cheek Palette ($38): Lorac had a serious lightbulb moment when they created this on-the-go eye/cheek palette. Use the six highly pigmented, half-matte-half-shimmer shadows to highlight, shade, line, and define eyes for a look that’s subtle, sexy, or anywhere in between. Now pair that with two blush options (pink and coral) for perfectly flushed cheeks, bronzer for a healthy glow, and a handy mirror, and you’ve got the ingredients for a fab face.

Cheers to confident beauty buying and big primpin’,
Hayden
