I said…BRRR, it’s cold out there (there must be some Clovers in the atmosphere).
Ok, Bring It On references aside (is it just me or was that Kirsten Dunst’s career high?), it is getting chilly in most parts of the country, which means it’s time for cute fall/winter style, even though you may want to wear yoga pants and a giant sweater all day everyday like me.
Here’s some inspiration for the tall-boots-with-taller-socks look, courtesy of Pinterest.
I just want to live inside one of those cable knit socks (with a case of red wine). You can rock this look with tights, leggings, or even skinny jeans and your feet and calves will stay as heated as a scene in Magic Mike. I love wearing argyle socks with my Hunter boots and gray sweater socks with my riding boots (hence, why I chose the photos above). Free People has some glorious tall sweater socks for $20, and you can always find what you need at Target or your local department store (look at these Nordstrom Nordic gems for $12). But if you want to splurge on the warmest pair, turn your toes to Hunter’s knit Welly socks for $40 a pop.
And rock out with your socks out.
