I think we can all agree that the Golden Globes is about 2304823048 times more fun/less stuffy than any other grownup awards (that excludes you, VMAs) and last night’s showing was all about the ladies. Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler killed it as the hosts (duh, and this should have happened sooner), Jodie Foster took up half the show with her speech about coming out…or retiring…or adopting Honey Boo Boo…or something, and HBO’s Girls took home not one, but TWO golden statues. But aside from the standard awards, I came up with a few of my own, senior yearbook-style. Here are the superlatives for the 2013 Golden Globes:
Best Dressed: Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen
Best Couple: TIE. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner (especially after she got on stage and thanked people that her hot husbie forgot; that was cute)…
…and Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried
Most Likely To Get Beat Up By Angelina Jolie After School For Stealing Her Pose: Halle Berry
Best Smile: Jessica Chastain (Is she seriously stunning or what??)
Most Likely to Sleep With the Entire Football Team: Sarah Hyland
(Is it just me or does she look a tad trampy?)
Most Popular: Lena Dunham (and friends)
Best Everything Overall: Claire Danes
And last but certainly not least…
Class Clowns: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
Maybe next year, Whitney Cummings (ha).
