The Newest Miracle Product to Repair Your Hair

At this point, me telling you I’m hair-obsessed is like telling you vodka makes you prettier. WE ALL KNOW ALREADY. And as of late, I’ve been seriously oil-obsessed (remember this post just last week?). So let’s talk oil + hair.

Unless you have the thinnest, finest, most oily hair on the planet, chances are you can benefit from using oil on your lovely lady locks. When I started using styling oil before blowdrying, I could not believe the difference it made–my hair was softer, silkier, more manageable–I was totally #TressBlessed. I will never go back to creams, sprays, or serums. I love Moroccanoil, but when Marula Beauty debuted their haircare line (like, it’s brand new; you heard it here first), I could not wait to get my hands on it. I’m obsessed with the Light Hair Treatment and Styling Oil for the silky smoothness and frizz prevention factor, but also because it’s not thick and sticky (GROSS), and a little goes SUCH a long way. You seriously need the smallest amount and it spreads so easily all over your magnificent mane. I also tried the Weightless Moisture shampoo and conditioner and I know this is going to be a savior for the summer when the heat, pool, beach, highlights, etc. wreck havoc on hair. I don’t use it for every wash, only about once a week (or every 10 days) for an extra moisture boost/hairapy session.

Look, here’s my hair!

So here’s the #RealTalk; I have dry hair and these products are fantastic for me. I know they would work wonderfully for most hair types, but the real gold in this product line is for coarse and/or curly hair and damaged and/or color-treated hair (try the Intensive Repair shampoo and conditioner and Deep Moisture Hair Mask). If you have Solange-esque hair (or um, Monica from that Friends episode) and have used other product lines like Carol’s Daughter, I highly recommend giving the Marula Intensive line a try for the better quality ingredients alone.

As we beauty obsessors are quickly realizing, Marula oil is the hottest miracle substance straight from NATURE right now, and with the wonders it works for the skin, you can only imagine what it does for hair. Added bonus: All the products are paraben and sulfate-free.

Also behold this sunscreen for the strands:
marula-moisture-mist-9749036The Daily Moisture Mist tames frizz but also protects your hair from the heat up to 428 degrees just in case you’re going to be hanging out in an oven this summer (but more importantly, protection from your hot tools). It’s Trojan-level perfection for color-treated tresses.

But ladies, I’m going to be honest here: If you have fine, oil-prone hair, these may not be for you on a daily basis, but you can always benefit from an oil treatment. I recommend the Weightless Moisture Conditioner once a week. You can click on your hair type on the Marula site and check out the product recommendations or feel free to comment below and I’ll do my best to guide you!

And in addition to the ENTIRE skincare line, Marula is also offering 20% of the ENTIRE haircare line until June 26 with code ‘pretty.’ And real talk, you guys: This is not a sponsored post (or I would say so) and these are truly the products I can’t live without. A ton of my gal pals have ordered the skin products and are obsessing, and I hope they’ll feel the same way about the haircare. Again, here is post 1 and post 2 about the skincare, so read up and lube up (same thing you do on a Friday night, what?).

LYLAS,
Ashley
